Hard to communicate with the staff. Dr. is ok but waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes past appointment is unacceptable. Find another Doctor. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the TMB because I fired him and now they are holding up some tests from another Dr.

My sister and I have been calling on behalf of our mother, for whom we have medical power of attorney, for several weeks. Unfortunately, the staff has consistently been unresponsive and unhelpful. On 9/9/24, I was placed on hold for 35 minutes, only for the call to be disconnected without resolution. I have documentation showing the length of the call (from 3:51 pm to 4:30 pm). This experience, combined with the overall lack of communication and professionalism, has been extremely frustrating.

I strongly recommend considering other options, as the staff here has proven to be unreliable and difficult to work with.

I was on the phone for over 20 minutes for them to tell me there are NO orders for devices in the system. Which is against EVERYTHING I was told last night. Now they want us to set up a NEW appointment for my mother just to order this device again.. she said she'd have someone call me. But that's never happened when they said it before.

Don't believe them when they say they can't find your number, they can see the number you call them from. Very unprofessional and I will be reaching out to the Health Facility Compliance Unit at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Update 2: It is now 9/16 the device ordered was the INCORRECT device for what she needed, it was also ordered through a company who can't send her a portable air concentrator without a home concentrator sent too. She already has one of those. This is getting to be unbelievable. I've already reached out to the HHSC

Update 3: Today is 9/17 and I called The Lung Consultants, to be put on hold for 9 minutes, then she comes back and tells me they are going to look for "more information" and that someone could call us back. When I said I can't trust that because it hasn't happened yet, she fires back with well I can put you back on hold. I get it they are busy, but this will yet again, be another report to the HHSC. I'll update when this call is resolved, let's see how long I'm on hold this time.

Update 4: Today is 10/1 and I've called again about this situation and when I finally speak to someone, she tells me I have to call back in the morning, I started to explain that I everytime I call I get put on hold, or I get hung up on.. before I can finish my sentence SHE HANGS UP ON ME.

I have been trying for the past four weeks for this practice to return my caĺs/emails .
I have been trying to get them to send a referral for my wife to get a CT.
Not successful. I am calling my PCP this morning to see if they can assist me.

The only bright spot about this office is that the doctors and nurses seem to be competent, well intentioned and personable. The administrative staff is another story and i think it may explain why there has been such frequent turnover of doctors and nurses. My father in law needs a pulmonary clearance for his surgery. He saw a new doctor st this practice who was friendly snd said the office would send the clearance to the operating doctor the same day. I was there with my FIL and observed this happen. Several phone calls later over the past ten days and this practice has yet to send the referral. Every time my father in law snd wife called, they were placed on hold without any resolutiin of their problem, my wife has been on hold for over 45 minutes at this point. It is not lunch time, and an administrative professional did speak to her twice since she first called and still no referral. Whoever is the medical director or owner of this practice needs to really ask themselves why they are in the practice of medicine. IMHO, whatever good the parade of doctors and nurses through this practice achieves is more than outweighed by its huge administrative shortcomings. If the Hippocratic oath means anything, the medical director (or whomever they are accountable to) needs to act.

I go for a sleep study, I take it, they never call with results. I call back a month later and they say I need an appointment, I show up for appointment and they tell me my insurance doesn’t approve another visit. What in the actually hell They approve the study but not the results? Why did you make another appointment!? Completely incompetent front staff. They act like government employees. Their attitudes are so bad.

The doctors are good, but the admin staff have much to be desired. When I usally try to contact the office I am put on hold. After an hour I hang up because no one picked back up. Today I called and got full voicemail boxes. This needs to be resolved.

The staff at the Lung Consultants are completely incompetent and Dr. Suri was hours late for our phone meeting, which lasted less than 5 minutes, which my insurance was charged over $450.

They didn't follow up with additional testing and then over a month later wanted to schedule the same test they ran before, which was not discussed.

They are slow to return calls, if at all. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with these people.

Absolutely the worse customer service. If you leave a message for the doctors PA, you never get a call back. Other times the voicemail is completely full preventing you from leaving a massage. 3 visits (Feb 2024 thru 4/8/2024) I was told a prescription was going to be sent in to my oxygen supplier for a nebulizer. As of 4/8/2024 still hasn’t been sent. Their billing is just as bad. Ther have been times they sent me bills without sending to my insurance first. Past 3 visits I was told I had a balance due. After she reviewed the account she finally found the mistake. Time for a change.
