”The Fresh Market” is one of the most elegant and attractive groceries stores that I know in South Florida. It offers a large variety of fresh produce, gourmet foods and specialty. It is not the cheapest store, though. But its weekly specials include among others, delicious ”rotisserie” chickens on Thursdays, at a very competitive price! The personnel is nice and ready to help the customers. And the classical music, at the Delray Beach store, makes it a very relaxing shopping experience!

Not what l was expecting. It was dark inside. I have my light on all my photos. There were some good sections such as their vegetable section and small bottles of wine. The deserts were not all there. In-between each item on the shelf there were empty spaces. When l asked for a strawberry shortcake l was told they come in frozen and there would be a wait to defrost. Again not what l was anticipating. When l went to check out when my shopping was done the area the way they had it set up l was not sure lf l would ring items or not, because no employee was directly at the register. Unfortunately just not a great experience.

Horrible experience. Not a single person working was kind or helpful. When my husband asked for a free cookie at the bakery, where there was a clear sign indicating they were available, the woman’s response was downright nasty.

But the real nightmare unfolded in the meat section. I can't stress this enough: it took a staggering 30 minutes to get half a pound of turkey and half a pound of provolone. There wasn’t a single person in line ahead of us, yet the worker’s attitude was appalling. He spoke to me in a dismissive and rude manner, and his sluggish pace only added to the frustration.

To top it all off, the cashier had her own unpleasant demeanor. It was as if the entire staff had decided to bring their worst attitudes to work today. I left feeling utterly disheartened by such a dreadful shopping experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

This place is a hidden gem. I was amazed at the items they have. The several brands of coffee you can choose to grind yourself. Including various kinds of nuts, meats, and seafood. The items in the bakery looked scrumptious and appealing. They also serve hot meals. The store in clean and inviting. The employees are professional, kind and helpful. I strongly recommend is without hesitation.

I had a great experience at this location years past but today was an exception. We are not local. It was not busy but I had a hard time finding staff to help us find the items we were looking for, and when we finally did find staff, they were not friendly and directed us to the wrong aisle. The cashier was friendly but she could not make up for her cohort. Also beware the summer vegetable chips pictured here tasted like rancid oil.

Today, I made my second trip to this location and I have to say I have never been treated so rudely. I wanted to purchase two Ultimate Crab Cakes that were advertised as two for $10. I went to the fish counter and the young man there told me I could take the pre-packaged ones that were behind me. When I looked at the prepackaged cakes, I noticed they were frozen. I told him I did not want frozen and he told me that they were all frozen, even the ones in the display case. He refused to sell me two from the display case. My sister visits this store often as she lives nearby. She told me she's never bought frozen ones and they always give her two from the displace case. Not sure why this happened or what the message is, but I certainly do not feel welcome to return to this store. The first time I went many months ago I was treated rudely at the meat counter. I think the store manager needs to get a handle on the staff and teach them about customer service. Disgraceful.

I bought the 2 for 1 pizza which was a Monday special. If you do. check the pizzas before you buy them. One pizza was well done and burned on the bottom and the other one was undercooked and doughy. I just took the two from the clerk and paid for them without checking. I was very disappointed.
