I just adopted two wonderful kittens from this rescue. This place is a well oiled machine! Everyone is professional and thorough while being extremely passionate for the cats well being to ensure a successful adoption. What they do for all these animals is exceptional.

This was the best experience with pet adoption! We recently moved to Colorado and didn't really know where to start. PetFinder was a great avenue that led us to CFFR. The descriptions of the kittens were like reading about a cat they'd had for years. Very detailed from personality to their favorite toy and even their nap schedule (for some).
The kitten we chose was based on a few character traits so lovingly detailed in his bio. Melon was a standout based on his love of pompoms and coloring to match his now best friend, Little Socks. When we filled out the application I was very honest about the household Melon would join and they were prompt in providing feedback in how to make it the safest place for their foster kitty. Being new to Colorado I really appreciated their knowledge of predators and the importance of keeping the cats indoors. Always.
Following the approval process, the meeting of Melon was prompt and inviting! I absolutely adored the foster parents and their care for the kittens they had. What an emotional job! When we were chosen to be the proud parents to Melon we were able to pick him up the very next day. I think this was a lucky transition as it was nearing the holidays. He has since become the most loyal little fur brother and cuddle buddy to our daughters.

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Colorado Feline Foster Rescue. We put in an inquiry into one of three kittens (a litter of brothers) we were interested in and had a response in about an hour with more information on the application process. We applied that night and the next morning the foster had reached out to us to set up a meet and greet.

When we met the foster parents and boys at one of the board members house, it was really well organized and well done. We came home with three new family members (who are of course neutured, chipped, vaccinated and in great health) and could not be more excited about these new boys - Franklin, Finnegan and Ferris.

We lost a 20 year old and 24 year old kitties this year, I had them both 20 years. After losing both kitties, there was a missing element to our home.

I started searching for our next cat and in a 200 mile radius, 2 cats were perfect. CFFR had Lord Vader (formerly known as Gerry). The entire process of adopting was very straightforward. We visited Gerry (at the time) and he was very shy and hid. Karen, the foster, had taken very good videos and spoke highly of his personality. He had all the qualities I was searching for and he came with all his shots and already nuetured. Total cost of adoption was $95, which I felt was very reasonable.

Lord Vader is the sweetest cat. We've had him a week and he's explored the house and decided he enjoys this arrangement. He's 6 months old and a very different energy than the 20+ old cats, I now realize how old they were in comparison. We love him very much already and he has helped immensely with our grieving/healing process.

The rescue truly cares about the cats and have followed up and been nothing but helpful. I highly recommend this organization and plan to donate to their cause in the future.

I truly appreciate the fosters and the organization for their work. If you're looking to adopt a cat, I would definitely look into this organization and support them!

We recently adopted 2 kittens from CFFR and cant say enough good things. The adoption qualification process was through but reasonable. The contact were always quick to respond. The foster parents were wonderful to work with. Our 2 new kittens were well cared for and all health issues resolved before we were allowed to take them home. This rescue and all it's members have made this such a great experience.

They are very thorough with their interviewing process and making sure all their cats have a clean bill of health! We brought home a super sweet little man who has been a perfect addition to our family and made himself right at home!

Organized, kind, encouraging….a pleasure especially as we were concerned about adopting a kitten with an old grumpy rescue at home and a 1 1/2 year old golden retriever.
